How did you do that?
I tried using the "code" tag but it parsed the BBcode inside

I left the tags open so it didn't parse it and remained as simple text, resembling code.

All one has to do is close off the tags.

I figured out another way. You need to type {noparse}***CODE***{noparse} but with the proper [] brackets obviously. I got sick of adding the BBcode to Meet the Mactalkers every week so investigated this so I could send a PM with the BBcode all there ready to copy and paste.

Here it is then, ready to copy and paste exactly as is;

If we want to purchase a refurb Mac, do we have to go to that link directly, or can we go using the one from our sig, then refurb (once you're at the store)?

As far as I know, it shouldn't matter - those URLs are handy just to get to those specific landing pages.

First I've heard of it too. Hey Decryption, why not stick a small banner off the side of the main front page somewhere. Away from the paid for advertising banners. Easy to find then. and more easily attract passing traffic through that way too.
