Default Most active users on MTAU?

Is there a link that you can go to that gives you a live listing of the most active posters on MTAU?

If you go to a persons profile you get therir post average which is just a function of the number of posts to the time they have been a mactalk member

you'r for instance is Post Avg. 2.91 posts per day.

I don't know if there is a big list of people though....it could be worked out easily enough (simple SQL....you need acces to the backend db though)

There used to be a link that would tabulate it for you, but it was pre-MTAU2.0, and the link doesn't work anymore.

In the AdminCP we can see it, haha
I can't access it from work - maybe iSlayer or Disko can post the top 10 minus iSlayer, Disko and me )

A big chunk of my posts are/were news bits from back when we had rss headlines.

If only we had a way of counting only quality posts. :/

Most posts. Is there anyway to have a live link, or would that be too much of a PITA?

From memory that record might actually belong to iSlayer - back before 10.4 and widgets

You could be right. At an average of 5.71 posts per day he absolutely blitzes my 1.15. iSlayer was pretty quick too to ~1000 (from memory) but then steadied out a bit.

EDIT: disappointed to discover 5731 members have never posted.

I will often post regularly then disappear for a few months. It seems to help keep my posting average down.

Stats encourage post whoring. I like the Apple Discussions version of the whole thing - you get credit for USEFUL posts. Maybe just a top 50... no numbers or ordering visible to anyone - just users with the most posts. And they get a small icon indicating it next to their name or something. Everyone else gets nothing.
I swear, some people think every stupid ass thought they have needs a thread asking if someone else has the same thought... Forums get old very fast.
...but at least there isn't as much spam as the newsgroups.
</stupid ass thought>
