this is a great ad.... very big ad....

but there seems to be a problem...

i cant hear it! i can see it i can read it... no sound! anyone else having problems?

It is on TV now anyway but I had no problem listening to it a couple of weeks ago.

Its a great ad BTW.

I think on tap, Carlton and VB are pretty similar (and both are delicious).

Toohey's New is tragic.

Man - I haven't had a Carlton for about six months ... living in China will do that.

Thanks for the link to the big ad though. Not bad. Only Aussies would sing "bloooo-dy" in a TV commercial!

Btw - before I left there were some classic reworked VB radio ads ... about being treated like a king when you entered a drive in bottle shop and storing you beer in the vegetable compartment at the bottom of the fridge. Any links to them?

The add is good, as are the old VB adds. It's just a shame the product isn't up to the hype the adds create. Everyone will keep drinking it however since VB and Carlton Draft are engrained in Victorian drinking culter.

Agree the beer is shite.

I love that ad. I couldn't stop laughing the first time I saw it. It is soooooo Aussie. Never actually tried Carlton though. My beer of choice is Beez Neez.

Both are shite, I would prefer a coopers Pale Ale any day. Carlton makes really good ads though, I liked the canoe one as well. Anyone got linkage?

Coopers Draught, and Tooheys New are my Beers of choice. I don't drink much beer as it is, however nothing beats a good Beer after a days water-skiing.
