Hi Guys,

Are there any sites out there that you can pay and download movies that our currently in the cinemas?

I know there's a nowonhd and you pay but i think you can only stream the movies?

I think the cinema distributors might have something to say about some such service cannibalising their sales.

Other than going to the movies, you're pretty much going to have to wait a few months before they hit iTunes, Pay TV or other on demand services.

I think you will find that due to copyright laws, you will not find such a serves. Though I think such a serves should be on offer.

I can't remember what movie it was but one of them tried an experiment where they were selling the DVD of the movie in the cinema. You showed your ticket and you got the cost of seeing the movie as a discount on the purchase (i.e. if you see the movie and buy the dvd or just buy the dvd it costs the same).

From what I remember it was a huge success. Why it hasn't continued is beyond me.

Not sure which one you're referring to, but the same thing happened with Bubble by Steven Soderbergh - not sure that it was that successful at all.

Because after you bought your ticket, and collected the dvd, you turned around , left the cinema, and off to mates place, where they shout you some beers, and thankyou for a free movie!
