Let me help you with this one:

First you want a team with a good base colour.

IMO black is the way to go here.
Goes with anything, good all round colour.

Then you need to add a little something too it.
So... Yellow and red go well with black.

but
Yellow is a bit girly
so
Red is the natural choice here.

You don't want to add white because then it just gets a bit busy.

So now that your left with teams that just use red and black your have.......Essendon and ......well that's it.

Problem solved.

And as it so happens the team that wears black and yellow are currently looking for a new coach, so if you've done a bit of coaching as well as looking for a new team to support, there could be a bit of synergy there.
