Meh, Bond has had its WTF movies before (Moonraker), and recovered nicely from them. A complete reboot wasn't necessary. It was becoming harder to determine if Bond was one really long lived man, or multiple people with the same code name, though.

Personally, my favourite Bonds were the more comedic Moores, and harder Daltons. I didn't particularly care for these new reboots. I haven't seen this one yet, but intend to.

Based on the somewhat negative reaction to QoS I wouldn'tbe surprised if the next Bond goes back to something more like Casino Royale, a more gritty realistic bond, but one that takes time to tell the story and has action that's comprehensible. I wish they'd hire Martin Campbell to direct again, he's done my two favourite Bond movies, Casino Royale and Goldeneye.

Can't agree with you more. Those two are also up there in my list of the best bond movies.

Saw the movie the other day, it wasn't exceptional and I felt that it ended far too abrubtly. It didn't develop very well, but some parts were ok.

I quite enjoyed it. And yes, Craig could have delivered some of the wittier/funnier lines with a bit more cheekiness that Brosnan perfected (almost parodied). And yes, there were hardly any gadgets - which were sorely missed...but overall, it was a top-notch Bond/Bourne action film.
