I would have stood there and taken it, then once he's done, and is looking confused and trapped (he's not going anywhere in this case) you ask sternly, so have you finished?

To me, that always seems to be the best way to overcome attacks like this, just take what they have, and belittle them afterwards, makes them look immature and foolish, it also makes you look like an absolute hard-arse too.

Steve Ballmer is like a cross between a gorilla and Dr Evil, hiding behind the desk made him look weak, you freaking run Microsoft act like a man!

I was talking about what happened after... he kept on going with grace and just joked about it.

I certainly don't think he'd be much fun if you were a small(ish) company trying to do a deal with M$, but in this one case he seemed to handle things as well as anyone could.
