MacTalk Podcast - Episode 46.5 - Me No Rikey
Peter Wells ( fulltimecasual), Alex Reid ( Al Aero), Christopher Kahler ( arkenstone) and Anthony Agius ( decryption) love you.
Note: we recorded this podcast and it was good. Garageband crashed on us right and the end and it was all wiped. So we recorded it again. Oh dear.

I haven't listened yet so maybe the date was chosen intentionally, but do you realise that Mon 3rd is the Mon of the (very long) Melb Cup weekend?

^That's already been discussed. For those who care not about stupid horse racing, it's a good time for it

Hah! The first time around was actually one of our better ones. Flowed well, had a bit of off the cuff humor. The second time around was chaos. I'm not listening back to this one!
Edit: I'd also like to point out the decision was between our usual post-recording pub dinner and re-recording, and we chose re-recording.
You can almost smell the dedication.

Nice job guys just wanted to point out Tv has airtunes and works without the tv on. Also tv dose not have the visuliser. It is a shame about visual hub. Keep up the good work.

The confusion between AMD/ATI and Nvidia, Intel. That was so bad it was funny!

Hah! I don't dare listen back.
Alcohol and having to actually speak aside:
ATI make video cards (GPUs)
Nvidia make video cards (GPUs)
ATI was bought by AMD a few years ago
Nvidia now make chipsets where they've managed to condense the northbridge and the southbridge into what theY call an MCP (IIRC).
ATI are also toying with making chipsets these days.
Because of the partnership between ATI and AMD you'll usually find them together, thus it's probably more likely to see an Nvidia GPU partnered with an intel CPU.
ta da!
See? we do know what we're talking about, we're just shit at talking.
