I take it someone liked him on the podcast?

He was a once off, but may be back if one of the regulars can't make it (maybe when Pete goes on long service leave after his 50 episode stint).

ahh Seaford Safeway...I worked there for 7 years (ish), I'm still trying to get over it! Apparently no-one still there is happy with the refurb...so you're not alone.

Wow. Other than between now and about this time 2005 I've always shopped there - I wonder how many times we've met.

Defending the indefensible!

The only thing I like about Optus billing is that when you phone customer service they can't explain it either and they generally end up just giving you a credit.

It's been like this for years and yet Optus do nothing about it.

I'm sure heaps! I did check out, liquor and grocery there over the years, so I'm sure our paths crossed

Great podcast. Does Name Already Taken exist anymore? It was nice to have 2 podcasts a week to listen to, but MTAU is clearly the better one anyway.

I hope this works, it's the 3rd time I've typed this post, each one getting shorter - stupid internet dropping out + random forum error.

Yep. We planned to record our comeback show tomorrow but it looks like this might be pushed back to Thursday.

I'll drop a note on the forums somewhere when it's back.

Scary and I have shopped there often late at night when I was still living at home as it's the only 24hours supermarket around. I haven't been there in a couple of months though :/

It's not 24hrs anymore, only 7-12 (or maybe 10, I'm not sure). Just incase you were thinking about rocking up there one morning! Sucks for the customers, but if I still worked there I'd be happy - I always got stuck with the shifts that went til 1am!

So have the hours only changed while the renos are happening or is this going to be a permanent change?

Pretty sure it's permanent. As far as I know anyway.

The "balls out of my mouth" and BJ references were abit much. But that what makes MacTalk Podcasts so funny and unpredictable!
