Straight mp3 download cuts out at 800K for me - and I've tried it a few times now

Are all the podcasts now hosted on Cachefly?

Then I can load up on podcast, delete all the 20-minute ones I've got now :/

EDIT: Looks like I'll have to wait until the iTunes problems figure themselves out. I don't want to download 10 shows and then the order changes and I have to do it again.

I don't remember the comment but don't be offended - I'm sure it was an intentional over-generalisation that geeks and aspergers go together.

No offence (ever) intended.

Except perhaps maybe to Brains sometimes..... :P

Quick question - one of the guys mentioned if you have an optus 24 month plan you can get it unlocked. Does that mean when I go on holidays to remoter areas I can throw in a Telstra pre-paid sim for those areas that Optus dont service???

Sure can
You just need to contact Optus and tell them you want your phone unlocked.

Thanks Dec, thats awesome news! Now it makes it that much easier to say goodbye to Telstra! I'll just buy a $20 prepaid sim, not activate it, and throw it in the glovebox for a later date

omg DataCase sounds amazing!! I just had a look on their website. It will be brilliant for my uni lectures. I can play the audio recording of the lecture, and look at my pdf's. I've wanted something like this for ages, and i had to previously email the documents to myself.

Decryption: your home storage needs sound exactly the same as what I already have set up here. Garage, Gigabit, 9TB, XServe, PC, 24 port switches - all in a nice fan cooled rack mounted enclosure on castors.

It not only serves my data needs but the PC serves my Foxtel needs too
