You need to live in Sydney for a chunk - Connex are wonderful compared to CityRail...
"Starcraft is balls" Decryption, 2008.
Tsk.
McDonalds didn't add bacon to burgers back when Dana came up with that recipe!
Ah, running commentary...
Oh man, the MacBook Air.
Apple also sited the keyboard as "not compromising". Of course, the 12" wasn't as wide and still managed a full-size keyboard...
Lack of USB... when I'm not at a desk, I don't need more than one port. When I sit at my desk, I just plug in my keyboard and there's mouse and Ethernet instantly. If I need more, I have a USB hub... that I've never used...
Lack of SuperDrive... I have an external drive full of disc images, and access to plenty of computers with optical drives.
FireWire is the obvious omission, but almost every hard disk has USB2 nowadays. Sucks when I'm playing with my 1st-gen iPod, though I don't think that worries too many people.
Performance... an Air can easily handle browsing, music, IM, Twitter, remote desktops, mail, blah blah all at once. If you're really working on intensive tasks (say, media work... like recording a podcast), of course you'd want a Pro.
Blah. Blah!
