Sure, the episodes are marked as explicit, but there is no reason hosts cant partake in a little self censoring...
For the record, the swear count for 57 minutes was:
Alex (al aero) ; 21
Chris (xenex) : 18
Chris (arkenstone) : 6
Anthony (decryption) : 1
Me : 1
Having just listened to it now, I agree with Rasta, and thunderstruck, its the worst podcast we've done.

haha, interesting stats - Alex needs some soap to wash his mouth out!
I don't think it's the worst podcast (there's been at least 2 crappier ones), but there was a lot of meh on my part due to that box bullshit - caught me on a bad day and I think it rubbed off on everyone else.
I wanted to experiment with more than 4 people as there's a lot of cool people in Melbourne to talk to regarding Macs, limiting it to 3 or 4 seems like a shame as there's people I want to talk to! But alas, it obviously doesn't work, hah - maybe it would be better with 2 podcasts a week with 3 people at only 30-40min max - that's something else I'd like to experiment with.

I'm not going to stop listening to the podcast, but feel that it would be better if the swearing was kept to a minimum or used to make an impact.

Okay I can see where you are coming from, but I personally would rather listen to people being themselves than having to self monitor. You can turn on the news 2 or 3 times a day and watch what happens if it's done excessively - just watch those politicians go. I listened to the podcast and did not think that people just swore to be cool, it's how these people speak.

My god I thought we taught Alex better than that at FormulaGpGuys!
BTW I am still looking at a Bris one, just waiting for Andrew to get free of all the study and will then make a call for some co-hosts up here.

Unfortunately I agree - this is the first one of the dozen or so I've done where I've been kind of embarassed about the quality of it.

The heated discussions were interesting but it was difficult for us podcast listeners to focus on a particular speaker seeing (or rather, not seeing) that we cannot tell who's about to cut somebody off. Remembering to keep an argument civilized really does wonders to those donning earphones.
Otherwise was an okay podcast due to the post WWDC topics (though too much 'boxtalk' imo)

Or why not just do the usual 3-4 people and then invite a few people in and 'interview' them for a segment. That way you get more people, and a coupe of interesting pieces which could compliment the 'Meet the MacTalkers' stuff on the forums...

I downloaded the podcast and got 12 seconds of it before it stopped. I deleted the podcast entry in the hope iTunes would redownload it once it it detected it missing but it hasn't. Any suggestions on how I could refresh the Podcasting list in iTunes without deleting the podcast already downloaded?
Many thanks in advance!

Wouldn't that involve losing all the podcasts i've already downloaded?
Suppose I don't need the older episodes, but it does stand to question, if you delete an entry how can you get it back without losing older episodes?
