Also, couldn't the Snow Leopard stuff have hit two days earlier? So many nerdy theories to babble, and it'll be all redundant by the next podcast!

Well the schedule hasn't exactly been consistent, can always record another one before WWDC.

Hook, line, sinker, rod and copy of the Angling Times...
First podcast I've listened to. Guess having an actual iPod kinda made it seem important, not to mention that title...
I wont even go "there" - leon already has, but yes, indeed, 110%, Word 5.1a - the best Word version ever to have existed in this temporal plane. After listening to the podcast, I'm seriously considering returning to it. Can't think of anything that Word 2004 can do (that I actually use) that 5.1a can't...
I can imagine Apple bringing out an iPhone Mini... I like a mobile phone that can be used to call people, and send sms. If I wanna browse the web, I use a computer. Certainly if I'm gonna torrent, it ain't gonna be on a phone (!?!). So, a simple iPhone without the bells and whistles... sure. Would sell a lot. Just look at the iPods... on the train every day I see a shitload of shuffles... barely ever see anything from the higher end range...

I have no idea why the podcast doesn't download for some people, it must be something with your ISP's links to the server I host the podcast on (separate server to MacTalk to save on bandwidth). All I can say is to try download it on a different connection and see if that works.

From someone who also has issues downloading each episode.
I my case it would say it was done but was only a partial download.
Try this it worked for me.
Download via iTunes but during the download I paused waited a few seconds then resumed. Did every 4 MB.
Don't know why but seemed to work and get through to the end.

what do you guys have against the appletv? your all self confessed torrenters, what does it matter what itunes au has no movies, would you pay for them anyway - I love my appletv best sub $1000 gadget I have.
Anyway as for the appletv flash its back up and cheaper. I bought it yesterday flashed my appletv last night took 5 minutes and worked great.
Only half way though but a good listen as always

Hey, I don't have anything against the Apple TV... for geeks!
However, it's just too hard for the average iPod user to setup and use on their own, especially here in Australia where there's no video content on iTunes.

Beyonwiz DP-P1 has it all over the AppleTV - doesn't need any hacks, plays off an SMB share and includes dual HD tuners. AppleTV is great, but not for me (I reviewed one so I know what it does and how to use it).
