With regards to the iPhone SDK, the big thing will be the certainty of support that comes with it. People or businesses can then commit to the iPhone as a platform for commercial development.

With this announcement I myself am thinking about investing a little in iPhone development next year.

Love spargo's idea! That'd make it very interesting to listen to as it gives insight into members who you don't have a clue about. Hearing from them would be a nice change. Hope you consider it as I think it'd be a success.

Hi - just listened to Ep 5 and part of 6 today, on the train.
Wanted to suggest that in the Description box on iTunes, if you could list Apps you talk about, blogs you read/subscribe to, newsletters you get etc - the format of the podcast sometimes means the name of what is being talked about is not clear, and as its a mobile format, pen and paper are not readily available to write down any names mentioned for future reference. For instance, you were talking about Mac newsletters, rumour sites, commentators, blogs that you read - I would like to check some of these out so getting the names right would make searching easierl. Incidentally, you didn't mention the only Mac newsletter that I read, and that is TidBITS.
Nice to hear Mac enthusiasts talk about their passions.

Was there any further thought on this? I never got through to ftc to try out Skype for you, though if you think you might give it a run in the future I can try calling him again to test.
