Im sure youve all seen the article about TouchSports Tennis '09 on macrumors.com....but i was wondering if anyone here with a iPhone 3G has bought it? There is only one review on iTunes, and the review says its a waste of money and doesnt work...But i really wanna buy it!

There's been a big uproar over the fact this runs crap on Jailbroken devices and not well on the original iPhone and iPod touch. There is also the significantly cheaper Ace Tennis Online with onling multiplayer. This is a lot less graphically involved but is one to consider and certain to be more stabler. Oh and one more app to consider. Hit Tennis, which is temporarily free is quite fun and QUITE simple but probably not so involved but may stop your Six Dollar impulse buy.

I checked out Hit Tennis on itunes, looks ok, i tried downloading it just then but the app store said its currently being modified and i will have to download later.

I used to like playing virtual tennis on PSP thats why i wanted to know about Touch sports tennis, its looks similar

It's been like a week but I bought TouchSports Tennis at half price ($2.49). The graphics are pretty nice and the gameplay is a little difficult but I like difficulty. It took me around a day to master the tilt & touch gameplay. For $2.49 with some nice updates coming up, it is probably one to buy
