What do you think of this idea

ok I just sent this off to apple they should put an option in the settings use net-connection when using maps application. In doing this it turns Maps into just a GPS navigation where you get directions and that. As this will be using up quite alot of the data pack if you want to use it as a GPS what do you people think.

I think we need more punctuation.

The setting Apple shouldput in is "use net connection when using maps application" ?

Which would turn maps into gps navigation, which it already does (although perhaps you're talking turn by turn?)

It doesn't use nearly as much data as it does battery life, especially if you're on just maps mode.

Is this what you're talking about? Sorry but you're very difficult to understand.

It wasn't Sambo and just to reiterate, please use punctuation.

I think you might be getting the transit directions mixed up here with turn by turn... btw does the transit direction work with Sydney Public Transport?

(sorry for the double post... how do you delete a post?)
