Frequency/tower info display app?
Is there an application out there that will show more details on the phones reception type. i.e what frequency, mobile tower details and name etc?

The reason I am interested is that in town we now have Optus 3G coverage, but according to Optus the transmitter is still 900Mhz, something that should only give me standard GSM on the phone, but I am definately getting 3G speeds..

I wonder if they have added another transmitter at 2100Mhz so the phone now gets 3G. Alas still slow GSM here at home, but thats what Wireless is for
