My partner has a work colleague with an iPhone, and for 99c, he bought an app which allows you to blow into the mouthpiece, finger the screen and play a virtual pan flute. Linda couldn't for the life of her remember the name of the app.

(For the cynics: it's probably not turning the wind rumble at the mic into music, it's probably just using the dynamics of that rumble to create a sort of artificial embrochure, then using those dynamics to set level and on-off data for tones played by the fingering on the touch screen. I do know a bit about music and about technology, and on hearing the description of this app, wondered if I hadn't finally found a reason to want an iPhone! )
