I'm surprised by the amount of apps people think they need - even when there's a Mobile Safari bookmark (not webclip) that will do the same thing.

...Anyway, I've heard reports that you can have either 9 or 12 home screens...

their are a good dozen stupid cat related free ones.. 4 or 5 drum ones, a couple of versions of a tetris like app, um

then their is this app that rates my curry pickle spread.. its all the rage.

i click on some of the top 100 freebies ones every now and then and hadn't deleted anything. until now.

i dont use them, i download/try them, and never bothered removing the ones I dont use.

+ some are really good for the 4th hr of the stupid forecasting meeting. but only when you are so past everyhting else, cat escape sounds enjoyable.

What secret 10th screen? Do let us know.

IIRC, Firmware 2.2 is rumoured to enable folders, which will help sort out the mess of our multiple home screens.

I'll trade you the secret of the 10th home screen for the folders...

Banish Those Unwanted Apple Applications From Your iPhone

Essentially, you're sticking unwanted apps (usually the stock Apple ones) onto the 10th home screen.

Now, these folders? I must know more! If only iTunes could sort out your home screens. Managing them on your iPhone gets tricky as you can only drag one app at a time

Thanks.

I've trawled through stuff, and it seems I may have been mistaken.

On re-reading the article (here) it is more of a wish than a rumour.

Sorry. My hopes have been dashed too.

If this ability is not in 2.2, then I may have to jailbreak.

Listen up Apple. We need this.
