Gameboy emulator
For anyone actively involved in the jailbreaking scene, what is the status of gameboy emulators for iPhone? Is it advanced only or also colour/standard? Smooth/Not smooth? Did it die after iPhone 3G was released?

If you are on 2.x.x, I'm pretty sure gameboy4iphone is currently in its beta testing stage at the moment, so the best thing to do is wait. They are currently issuing beta test copies to donators only as far as I know.

If you really can't wait, there is a program (I think its for Windows) called Goomba. It basically converts your .gb roms into .gba roms so you can play it with Gpsphone. Never tried before though.

EDIT: whoops, sorry, didnt quite get the question. lol.

Gpsphone is available for download in version 2.x.x, and in my opinion its pretty good. It lags sometimes, but I reckon its still playable. Can't really play action games though due to its (kinda) awkward controls.

PS. turning off the volume helps smoothens the performance.

Gameboy4iPhone looks promising and is exactly what I'm after. I'll definitely consider Jailbreaking. Awesome!
