Use your iPhone as a wireless router

I don't have one yet, but saw this link and maybe it's interesting/of use ... About PDAnet which apparently will turn your iPhone into a true wireless router for your Macbook (I'm quoting them!)

PdaNet -- Use your iPhone as a Wireless Router for your PC/Mac

I would assume you have jailbroken your phone? Yes?

Because:

Can't wait to install PdaNet? Well as of today, PdaNet has not been accepted by Apple's App Store due to understandable reason. You will need to jailbreak your iPhone and install it through Cydia. It is as simple as launching Cydia, go to Search and enter "PdaNet".

it is under networking in cydia from what I recall. I've used it a couple of times. Useful as emergency modem for MacBook.

Yep works great. I have noticed on my last 2 optus bills i have used 82mb and then 45mb out of a 500mb limit so I will definitely play around with this app just to get the most out of my plan.
