Favourites is a great idea, but it took me several attempts before the app remembered my favourite tram stops. Would add a stop, then i'd go and add another, but the first would have disappeared.
Buggy.

Hi there. We noticed that bug after one of the uesrs told us about it. Still looking into why it disappears, but will have that fixed very soon.

I'm lost at what is causing your issue since I can't replicate your issue Next suggestion is to actually delete both the copy on your iPhone as well as iTunes and repurchase another copy which will be free since it remembers that you bought it before. Wish I could figure it out

Yeah, that's what I did already. I guess I could do a restore to wipe out any preference files that are hanging around, but I don't really want to do that.
I guess if 2.2 is coming in the next couple of weeks I will try it then.

Two more bugs:
1. I've added a few stops. A day later went to add another, and it deleted the original set of tram stops i'd entered in.
2. Many stops have more than one line passing through. But not all my favourites are showing every tram that passes through.
Example. I live in Brunswick and work on St Kilda Road. I added Lygon Street/Stewart St stop in East Brunswick, and it shows me information for both the 1 and 8 trams. Good. Then I added High Street/St Kilda Road Melbourne, which is where I get off. 6 or 7 different lines pass through this stop, including 3, 6, 16, and 64. Yet it only shows me one line.

1. We're currently working on fixing that bug. Should be out along with a few more bug fixes
2. This is by design. You choose a favourite line first because that is a line that is of interest to you. After you choose your favourite lines, you choose your favourite stops. Those stops will only show you the details of your favourite lines going through that stop. If you wanted to know the times for all the trams that goes through that stop, you'll need to select those as favourites line.
There is also some confusion about tram and bus stops showing 1 direction. A lot of the tram stops are located on each side of the road, and as a result have a different name for each stop. Although we're filtering stops by suburbs, we might reconsider this and go towards people choosing a stop name by line. What do you all think? Is it confusing when it's filtered by suburb?

I think having both up and down directions for a stop, if they happen to have different cross street names is a very good idea. I don't fancy having Lorne Street x St Kilda Road and High St x St Kilda Road just to show what is in reality the one stop.

@tcn33 maybe you should use:
iPhone / iPod Touch Backup Extractor
and send the logs for the app...

A few issues
A number of last services aren't listed, and some weird time coding is present, for eg.
The 11.59PM glen waverly from Flinders street gets to southern cross at 12.02pm by the app... it may just be a wrapping around problem??? Seems to be correlated with the 11.29pm from flinders street which gets to holmesglen by 12.01pm.
This issue is also there for a number of last trams. instead of going to AM they will stay at PM
There are a number of last trams and trains that aren't listed... for example, route 3 has another 4 trams leaving after the app's last listed tram leaves.
On sunday, the glen waverley trains should end up 11.25 from melb central.. however there is a 12.05am listed.
The last trains from melb central on fri / sat night on the glen waverley are listed as 11.30pm then 12.35am... however there is the 12am and the 1.05am trains aswell.
Could Trams also get listed by route numbers? They seem to have no apparent order.
Sorry to list all of these, but to me, knowing when the last service i need to get home comes through is fairly important.
It would be great to see these issues dealt with, otherwise it's a fantastic app! keep up the good work guys

CityRail & Sydney Metro
So... can you give us any details of the CityRail response? Why did they ask you to take it down? What's happening?

Hi there - I'd like to make one suggestion for an edit.
Where it gives the distance to the nearest station, it will give you the list that reads;
Kooyong 648 Ms
This confused me for a bit at first, until I realised that it meant;
Kooyong 648m
KMs should also be km, and again no space between the number and the unit.
The letters used to indicate distance are simply SI units;
SI base units
SI base unit
Base quantity Name Symbol
length meter m
mass kilogram kg
time second s
electric current ampere A
thermodynamic temperature kelvin K
amount of substance mole mol
luminous intensity candela cd
Anyway, a little pick on what is a very very good app that gets used everyday Good work!
