Help arranging apps on my 6 home screens

With six pages of apps, I am hoping there's a better way to arrange them than just dragging wiggling apps one-at-a-time. Particularly dragging between screens is a pain.

Catagories

Why don't you download "Catagories" through Cydia and then you can put them all in folders in catagories with nifty little icons for each catagory.
I had 4 pages but I'm back down to 1.5 now

Isn't Cydia for jail broken iPhones?

I know what you mean but I don't think there is way to do it.

If your phone is jailbroken then you might be able to download Categories like another poster suggested and put the apps into folders to reduce clutter but then you wouldn't have the nice and shiny icons of the apps on your homescreen(s).

Yep, not interested in jail-breaking (at least not until warranty is expired).

Must be another way.

My suggestion is to click that Restore button on the front screen, then add Apps back in as you need them.

Don't the screens get reorganised every time you add new ones or update?

And with that many Apps, doesn't the iPhone fall over into the gutter as soon as you open the gate to let it out for a walk?

Yes, I did think of deleting them all, then adding one-by-one using the check boxes in iTunes and synching each time. This would probably work, but it would be messed up when I delete or add apps.

And no, my iPhone hasn't crashed yet.

I use Categories, but something weird's happened.

I created a folder called "custom" and i now can't get rid of it.....it doesn't show up in the list of folders, and I'm wondering if anyone might know where on the iPhone in the folder structure i might find it to delete it ?
