Help found! My iPhone apps gone with new computer!
Hi all,

I recently got a new Macbook. I previously had my iPhone synced with my old Powerbook G4 and when syncing to my new Macbook, all my apps disappeared. They are still with my old Powerbook G4 in iTunes, how can I get them across?

Assuming your iTunes on your new Macbook is set up with the same iTunes account as you purchased the apps with on your Powerbook..

You should be able re-download the apps from the app store by clicking on "Buy Now". It will recognise that you have already purchased them, and redownload them for free.

Alternatively, you can drag (copy) the .ipa files from ~/Music/iTunes/Mobile Applications on your Powerbook, and drop (paste) them into iTunes on your Macbook.

It would be good to make a list of the apps you've purchase so in the future you can remember which apps to download. Or keep all the iTunes receipts archived in your email to keep track.
