It may well be me being dense, but whats best for using it as a portable HD using both PC and Macs without wireless capabilites?

I have a PC at work on a huge wired only network, and an old Powermac at home that is connected the old fashioned way to the world by wires. Basically - can i use it like a USB stick b/w a PC and a Mac?
