Someone else did that on another forum and after all is only info not the actual software. I did try the link and got no where as you need to be a paid iphone dev to download it anyways.

Yeah I updated and you are no longer Jailbroken.

However it does seem to be a bit quicker which is more important to me.

Fair enough, I'll take the leap until the Jailbreak for 2.0.1 comes out.

Cheers

Apologies all.. Have we established that this new firmware does not re-lock legitimately carrier unlocked phones?

As in, if I update my firmware tonight, will I still be able to use my 3 SIM?

Might try the carrier settings thingy later today, once they fix the server up, or has anyone else had any luck here?

The Apple servers are being hammered now, as folks all around the globe are downloading 2.0.1 for iPhone & iPod touch - that's most likely why downloading the carrier settings file may be error-ing.
Try later, let folks here know the result. eg. all the usual blogs are prompting folks to download it - MacRumors, TUAW, Ars Technica-Infinite Loop, Apple Insider, MacNN, MacWorld, Gizmodo, Engadget, on irc, etc.

Because I'm at work and want to update at home I just clicked the download button in iTunes. Does anyone know where the firmware is downloaded to so I can take it home and update tonight.
