Not much change

They need to pull their collective fingers out I reckon.
Still lag in SMS
Lag on Address/Contacts
No MMS
No Copy and Paste
No ability to delete all SMS's
It's a big list I guess but they are things that need fixing to bring iPhone to the level of other smart phones istead of fancy toy.

I have had the screen flash while unlocking the phone. All so lag on opening apps or switching from say mail to sms is annoying me. All so my iphone seams to get stuck in ipod mode.

2.0.1 removed SMS lag for me, except for when it is plugged into my computer.

No MMS..?

Why would you want MMS... With a phone that does email so well just send your pics via email for a few cents instead of getting ripped off by the phone company 75c (plus) for a picture msg.

That's my exact reasoning as well. I think MMS is a dead technology. The ONLY reason why people are making such a big deal about it is that the majority of mobile phones here have MMS as a feature, and most lack the internet capabilities for easy email accessibility.

not sure which thread we were mentioning it...
but I'm on Telstra and now they seem to provide a MMS notification.

I received one last night. It directs you to a webview page, you enter your phone number and a provided password - and you see the MMS via the web. The Save As option didn't work for me though...
but at least now, on the rare occasion I receive an MMS I can still see it.

That's always been the case, but who gets MMS messages anyway.

OPTUS has one in place: http://www.optus.com.au/viewmms and I've received about three in my four years of owning an OPTUS phone that only could receive SMS and EMS (remember that?).

However, it has been noticed that when directed to this website, Safari on the iPhone crashes. Great.
