To do's

Have found a neat way to have to do's on your iPhone and also in iCal.

Download thru the App Store a product called Todo.

Open a free account at Toodledo

On your iPhone, open Todo, and go to the 'wheels' in the bottom right hand corner and click, then click on synchronisation, and enter the user email address and password of the Toodledo account you opened.

Return to Toodledo, and go to iCal Subscription scroll down to find it, select Enable Live iCal Link, and click on the Apple iCal (2nd on the list).

This will add an iCal subscription to iCal, and will sync your to do's, the beauty is, they will also be in your mail folder, but the iCal won't appear in iPhone, as subscribed calenders do sycn yet.

Remember, this is not push from your phone, you have to press the refresh icon in the bottom left. Set your iCal preference to auto refresh, whatever time is appropiate for you, and it works a treat.

Geez, relax, dude! It's the best ToDo app out there, and if you read what I wrote, you'll be able to see to do's in iCal, but I prefer the widget use to see on my desktop, and it's more advanced than iCal on the iPhone.

No, as it is a subscribed calendar, you can't... Unless I am missing something. I'm still looking for the ultimate iPhone/Ical/Todo solution. I'm waiting for Things to be able to sync between the desktop and the iPhone...

This app (Todo), Toodledo (free web service) and a bit of freeware called Toodledo Sync

Chromatic Dragon - ToodledoSync Application Information

has solved my task syncing with Outlook on the PC side.

Its klugey, but I can now sync over the air, ala mobile me, between outlook on my PC, and iPhone Todo, with web access in between if required, and its totally free.

Full instructuions here: Apple - Support - Discussions - Outlook tasks CAN sync to your ...

enjoy

Edit: when I say free, I mean free after you buy todo.
