How do I get access to the US app store for free apps??

I had been searching, but to no avail on how to get access to the US app store in order to get their free apps, they do have a larger range of apps.
Maybe whilst developers fill their application to send their app to the app store maybe the first choice of preference is US app store and I believe this must be the default setting...
I am saying this because they do have more apps than what the Aus app store has.

So....my question...how do u access those free apps if you dont have a US account???

Just use another email address and create a US iTunes account using tcn33's method. After that you're good to download all the free apps you want (though keep in mind most are completely irrelevant to an Australian audience).

How to get a US iTunes account - free!

Awesome! Thank you for this.

The only thing is, because I created a new account for this, the apps are under "new@emailhere.com" whereas some other apps I got from the Australia store are under my original iTunes account.

Is it possible to copy all apps to the iPhone? Regardless of which account "purchased" them? (They're all free.)

Thank you..

I've got two accounts. One US and other Australian and have purchased apps from both App Stores. All apps synced successfully with my iPhone.

How many useful apps are there on the US App store that we do not have here?

I want to get Scrabble, Pandora and Last.fm. How do you set it up so you can actually pay for the apps on your US account? I couldn't validate my VISA or PayPal account?

Can anyone get Pandora to work? Got through the process of registering my iPhone and setting up stations just fine, but on the iPhone I just get a message saying "Unable to get your stations [Cancel] [Try Again]". Tried 3g and two different WiFi networks.

Last.fm works a treat though. As does Google App.

Now I understand why Last.fm and Pandora are restricted (as do I understand why Scrabble is too), but why in the name of all that is holy and unholy is Google App US only? It's the Spotlight search we've always wanted for our phones.
