There's a really nice Movie App working here now.
It's called OneTap and it's $2.49 - giving your local movie times by cinema or by movie, with links to Trailers on the iPhone. Nice quality.
I put a link to it in Australian iPhone Applications

According to the listing on the App Store, this app now supports Australian TV listings. I'm guessing from the screenshot on the developer's website that it's FTA channels only - can anyone confirm?
edit: having bought the app, I can now confirm it's FTA only at the moment (v1.2).

Apple Staff Pick for Docoloco
Just a quick update on the Docoloco iphone web app
Docoloco for iPhone
We got a "staff pick" from Apple. Woot!
Apple - Web apps - Social Networking
Docoloco is a local recommendations network for Australians but was always globally enabled (it's nice to be able to say where the good coffee is in London even if you're an Aussie). But with the recent nod from Apple we've had a lot of Americans and others adding to their parts of the world. I'd say it's still about 80% Australian recommendations and it is nice to have people from around the world contributing. The "best coffee in the world" page is looking much more interesting now that there are a few more flags outside Melbourne ;-)
Docoloco

Can't you just use news.com.au for that and tailor your settings? The Age also has an iPhone portal.

Nice! They need to add tel: links though
Edit: they have tel: links for the Contacts screen but not the lounges, feedback submitted to them

that qantas site is a bit of a letdown, it would be good if you can book flights off a iPhone customized app.

Not exactly an App, but ANZ has come to the party with an iPhone specific webpage.
ANZ Personal homepage
Let the Banner add at the top do it's stuff and it will bring up an iPhone and give the link to the page.

For free Australian movie listings, which you can actually customised (with settings saved), you can make a homepage link via Safari to this page:
Entertainment Guides - MovieFIX
Works well for me. It's free, and as I said, customisable to your local cinemas.

This is excellent. Works well in melbourne.
Allows one tap to go to the google map of the cinema location, and one tap to watch the trailer of the movie. Excellent feature!
well worth the 2.50 if you enjoy your movies.
