Didn't know where else to say this without starting a new thread...
Just saw on an Optus brochure in the junk mail advertising the 3G iPhone, it said down the bottom along with the other features
"Exclusive iZoo Application"
Are Optus installing this now when they activate your phone?

I'm currently doing this and should be finished in a week or two (bit busy with real job). Will let you get usage and and projected usage, etc. Should work for most major ISPs. Ill chuck on app store for free when I'm done

With this thread growing...
maybe the OP could keep an up to date list of Aussie apps and possibly web apps - to save everyone having to constantly scroll through 7 pages (and growing)... and that might indeed save us from lots of n00b questions / requests?

Under Settings > Phone there is an Optus Services button which leads to an iZoo web app page. Just gives links to various things, including Fox Sports.

it's also in the bookmark list of safari (optus zoo link) wonder how the sneaky sods got that in there, part of the network lock? or perhaps on the sim card as a URL?

Just found this via Optus Zoo:
http://carsguide.mobi/findPetrolPrices.htm?cpID=21
You can search via post code and it works pretty well. They should implement one that uses the GPS in the 3G iphone to show you the petrol stations closest by.
Btw, anyone can access it, you don't have to view it via Optus Zoo or anything like that.

What were you hoping for? There will be something Essendon specific come next season, but not in time for this season (unless Essendon make the finals maybe).

That would be great in any city.
Having bus-based GPS to update bus times would be great. Short of that in Sydney, perhaps our own GPS could notice we were running 5 minutes behind schedule and update our calculated connecting buses and eta.

I hope mentioning this is not bad form - I made a wiki on Whirlpool to answer this question.

OOoo. I didn't notice this until your post. It must be part of the network lock. Or when the phone is first activated instore. Whatever the case is, I wouldn't be using their crappy "content" anyway.
