Thanks it's been a bit of a bumpy ride, but now the worst part is over I'm hoping for support from the users. So far we've got some great feedback and it's been an awesome learning experience As for the photo taking suggestion, I've been toying with the idea of involving the iphone camera in a few different ways (I'll keep it secret for now :P) and that should be out in the next update

Nice work TripleJ...I've been too busy to try it, but maybe on the weekend I'll download it and give it a spin. Good to see more Aussies on the store, especially Aussies making completely different apps to us

Podcast

Me and Russell have been developing Pocketweather and it was great to hear it get a mention on the Mactalk podcast. We are just about to release a major upgrade so hopefully that will get a mention
I hope people are still using it. Our sales have drop right off now so this update is to thank all those aussies who bought it.
Some of the new features are sunset / sunrise, using gps to find your nearest weather station location, improved radar and lots more.

An App I made

Well last month I finally launched an app that I had built for the Apple Design Awards. Since it only took me about 2 weeks to write the original code it would be fair to say it had some rough edges.

So it took me many months to get around to launching it. Very interested to here any comments.

I gotta tell you compared to the enterprise stuff I usually work on, doing iPhone development has been lots of fun!

The app is here

If you want to see it in action have a look at the demonstration movie at ThinkDigits at Ignited Software - Great software products

We've got a few iPhone apps on the store already and a few more in the pipeline, but our most popular is Cam Viewer Lite (http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/M...289577520&mt=8).

Cam Viewer Lite is an application designed to make it easy to view images from private security & surveillance cameras, although it can also be used to view public web cams, traffic cams, weather radars or any other image source.

A few screenshots (these are from version 1.2 which is pending approval from Apple):

It's a simple take on the card game "snap", made for 2 players and with a few variations added in as well. Great to finally get something into the store!
