Ditto. I'd be willing to donate some cash as well, this is simply awesome.
Re the bugs i mentioned, i just realised the bit about the next three trains is not a bug (well not technically). it's the next three trains, coming through hawthorn from alamein, lilydale and belgrave, but they are all the same train, but it's the three different lines (if that makes sense).
Decryption, have you talked about these on the podcast yet?
I love being able to see when all the trains leaving the city stations and flinders street are, that is truly genius.

I haven't talked about this new one, but I have mentioned the tram tracker app I posted about.
I certainly will be pimping this on Tuesday

Yep this comes from the duplicate data I mentioned above. The same train appears in multiple timetables - I'll sit down tomorrow night and go rm'ing through the database.

Thats my favourite bit too! That'll be even better when the duplicate data is fixed.
Thanks to the guys submitting feedback via the app too.

It'd be nice to have our location taken from GPS so we don't need to tell it where we are... But I guess that would have to be an App Store app.

Hey Shiznatz,
Any chance of the Vline Trains being added as well, particularly the Geelong Line? I'd be happy to put together a spreadsheet or two if it would help. Country Lines should also be a bit easier because they don't have the problem of going through the loop in different directions at different times

I'd like to eventually move to support all forms of public transport, so the VLine stuff is definitely on my list. As is eventually supporting other cities, for those asking for Sydney.
At the moment I'm wrestling with the bus data And building a new version that is smaller, uses css transforms and local caching. Save on our bandwidth bills ;-)

Leslien: Thanks so very much for this app. It's awesome. I'm using it daily!
To show my thanks, I've made you an iPhone favicon for use on your web app.
Save the image below in the root folder of the tramtracker website and rename it as
"apple-touch-icon.png"
When you add the device to your home screen, the iPhone/iPod Touch will use that as its icon.
Don't worry about the size as the iPhone will automatically resize it and add the masking and reflectiveness overlay to it.

I find this an excellent little application, and appluade your effort. Add that icon that was created above, and it'll look pretty, too.
Keep up the good work =)

Both apps are trully awesome. I'll probably stick to the one with the trains as well, and hopefully in the near future buses.
Would love to know how much data this uses though.

I'm committed getting the bus data in within the next week. Looking for some volunteers to help out with data verification - send me a PM if you're interested, its just loading up some website and ticking some boxes in a spreadsheet.

you can almost get away with using the live one, but it sucks balls over non-3g.
