Interesting question:
Why is it called 'Wallpaper' on the iPhone and 'Desktop' on a Mac?

Is it to keep the Windows folk happy, or more likely that the iPhone doesn't have a desktop????

Go to Settings > Wallpaper > select which folder that has the photo you want to be your wallpaper (shown up on the Locked screen you want to activate and when a call comes through that has no high resolution picture of the caller.

Here's mine - landscape mode

When on the Touch/iPhone, it's pretty much actual size of a cassette.

Hmmm, I thought there already was a wallpaper thread; guess not.
Anyway, here's a few sites I trawl for simple wallpapers (too complex and they visually compete
for the names of the applications):

They should keep you busy!

Here's one I just made.

I've used the actual internals of a 3G iPhone.

('Cos I haven't got my iPhone yet, I have no idea how this will look. If someone tries it, can you give me some feedback?)

Cheers.

I like the smiley one too, I have saved it to have as my wallpaper when my iPhone finally comes in.
