Muted calls?
So I'm sorry if this is somewhere else but I couldn't find anything.

I'm having an issue lately where when people try and call me and I answer I can't hear them and they can't hear me. It doesn't happen when I call people and sometimes when people call me it's normal.

Has anyone else had this issue?

Yes, this has happened to me, the only issue I've had with my iPhone (except app crashes.) I am on Optus by the way.

Plug/unplug some headphones - it may think that there is a headset plugged in when there isn't.
