1.5 GB of mysterious 'Other' on iPhone

Hi everyone, on my iPhones capasity meter in iTunes it says that I have 1.5 GB of 'other', but I only have songs and apps, I haven't uploaded any of my videos, movies, tv shows, pod-casts etc.
Does anyone have the same problem or have any similar problems.

Thanks

Corrupt files. There already is a couple of threads on this "other" data.

Maybe you've got a crap load of photos? =/

Edit: ^ The above reply would make more sense. I didn't know you could get corrupt files, though

iPod database and album art takes up a bit of space. These are in the Other category.

I usually get some amount of other as well, and it always happens when the Apps section goes down.

A restore will fix it, but it always seems to fix itself - well, it does in my case.

Is your phone jailbroken. If so, it could be apps that you have installed from cydia such as NES ROMs ar whatever.

I restored and now it is saying that I have 266.7 MB of 'other' on my iPhone. Does that seem right.

Thanks

Personally, I wouldn't worry about Other - unless your iPhone starts playing up bigtime, then it's probably not an issue that you need to obsess over.

Not worth losing sleep about IMHO.

no, iPhone (crap username btw) that's where apple is storing all the porn for its free porn network. (appleporn.com)

Every iphone has got about 500mb of "other" on it, that is apples mass raid system for their porn server.
