HELP! 2.0.1 broke my iphone, now it doesnt work!

Hi guys!!!

I tried to do the update then got the error that it couldn't do the update, so iphone is perpetually in restore mode!

I tried it again on my "windows" laptop and the same thing happened again!!!

Now I am without a phone, which is my primary work phone,

anyone know of a work around yet???

I don't get the carrier problem, it just tells me that the iphone could not be restored (6)

So then once i get that it tells me to plug it into itunes, I don't have a functioning phone!!!!

Don't update if you like jailbreak !

Everyone with a jailbroken iPhone should read this as the new update will take away your jailbreak.
The new carrier settings will lock you in to that carrier for ever.

Do a refresh on the phone by holding down the home button and hold button for 10 seconds. COntinue to hold it down even if you see the "slide to turn off" screen. This will refresh the phone.
