Download all mail messages to the iPhone from Mac Mail

Hey gang,

I've googled far and wide and I've also looked through this forum so forgive me if this is obvious or someone else has asked it, but:

I want to put my entire inbox on my iphone. Can anyone tell me how? i seem to only be able to store emails recieved since I set up mail on my iphone...

?????

Yours in desperation,

Joel

You'll have to set up your email as IMAP, you can do this with a lot of email providers (mobileme, .mac, hotmail, etc)

Then it will sync your mail to your home computer, and also include it on your device.

the simple search on the browser would be the best option, do you really need access to EVERY email.

yeah i would just like it to actually be on the iphone, rather than having to search through safari.

i probably don't need every email on my iphone, but it would be nice

thanks for taking the time

IMAP setup on both devices to the same account, works flawlessly (is how I run mine)
