Syncing calendar with ical and outlook simultaneously

Hi all

I was wondering if anyone could help me out - I have a work calendar which is run on Outlook (on my work PC), and a mac at home which runs ical.

Is it possible for me to sync my work calendar when I get to work on outlook, and then sync my personal calendar on ical when I get home? Would it just be as simple as running itunes at work and at home and going through that?

This way I could keep work appts on my work PC, and personal appts on my mac at home, and BOTH appts on my iphone.

Apologies in advance if this is a dumb question.

Does your office use Exchange at all?

no. There is no way to do it wirelessly, I would have to physically link the phone with the pc and sync that way.

It is possible, set up both computers to sync data from computer to phone. Do not select "merge data".

How would this work if I write an appt in the phone on the fly, and I want it reflected on the computer when I get back?

Then you would need to change the synchronisation options to "Merge". There's no easy way really.
