Where do I block out my APN

Hey Guys I am only using my iphone as a Telephone and ipod and can't find where I need to go to get to Cellular Data Settings to blank out my Telstra APN so I don't accidentally use the Internet. Can someone help me please.

Settings > General > Network

If not, APN Changer from your iPhone and set up a dodgy APN so it won't connect.

No.

VPN is not APN.

If it's not there, then you need to:
a) unlock it so that it might appear
b) jailbreak it so you can edit the APN yourself
c) use APN changer to change the APN
d) talk to your carrier to restrict GPRS/3G usage or bar your usage completely.

I wasn't about to try A or B.
C wasn't available to me at the time when I needed it so I ended up with D and it worked fine. No data usage anymore or ridiculous premium pricing.

Or, you know, call your carrier and ask them to bar mobile data from your service.
