iPh: WiFi Problem.
First, let me say I am sorry in advance if such a thread already exists. Wouldn't have a clue as to how to search for it.
I got my iPhone today, am really enjoing it. But, I cannot get the internet to load when i am using safari (or anyother data app for that matter).
What I get is a error "Safari could not open the page because the server stopped respnding". I have tried it on numerous pages to no avail.
Thing is though, I can get to my routers and printers 192.xxx.x.x pages no problems.
I have also tried under 3G data and it flies - But I am not using data when I have a network in my house.
So what am I doing wrong? Have I missed a setting or anything?
Thanks for any help.

settings>wi-fi, checked it's turned on. then tick your home network when it appears. All should be fie. when you open Safari the Wi-Fi cone will replace the 3G icon.

That's the thing, I have it turned on, I can get to my routers page, I see it on my DHCP list. So something is not allowing it to go.
Edit: I can even use VNC and Remote app. So I can access the network on the internals, just not the friggen internet. =[

What kind of wireless security do you have?
Do you need to add the iPhone to the access list? (MAC address filtering).
Does the iPhone have a proper IP?
Have you gone and Reset Network Settings?
Turn iPhone off, then on?
More details about the wireless config is needed.

Ok. Lets start from the top:
WPA PSK is what security I have.
Access list? I have 3 Laptops, a printer and this iphone connected right now. But there are a few more other on the DHCP list that I don not recognise.
iPhone has IP 192.xxx.x.10
Routers IP 192.xxx.x.1
My Macs is 192.xxx.x.3
Turned iPhone on and off.
Just did a reset Network Setting, rebooting now. Nope. Did nothing.
=@
The router is a Belkin 54g .

Have you tried restarting your router? Also, why are you trying to hide your private IP addresses? (192.168.1.x)

This sounds like a DNS error. try going to a webpage's direct IP addy like apple.com 17.149.160.49
If this works set a DNS

Local IP addresses are inaccessible from outside the network, i.e. us.
So saying your LAN IP is 192.168.0.3 is not a worry.
I believe you are 192.168.2.2/3 or similar with external IP 211.* or 58.*
DMZ is just a headache that you don't have to worry about. Disable (that is your "de-enable" ) unless you know what you're doing.
And if you restore, you will get the newer firmware (up from 5A345 to 5A34 7).

Huy thanks for the info. I was in a bit of a panic hence the de-enable. Disable, duh! Any point going to the new fw?
Actually I had to renable dmz because apps weren't working. Hmm.

No real point to going to newer firmware (build, not version) since it is still 2.0.
I did it anyway, since I have nothing to lose (everything that is important is already synced or exists elsewhere/on my Mac).
I also have no songs, no photos, no videos, no ringtones, etc etc... so I'm not at all worried about wiping the iPhone and restoring since I can be up and running again in around 2 minutes flat.
