OMG,

my gen 1 iphone didnt have the lag this iphone 3g does!!!

Is anyone else getting Contacts LAG? The scroll bar of the alphabet on the right is is useless for around a couple of seconds when i open up the contacts.

is there a fix on it's way?
Mine only lags for a little while then it's ok.

I do have massive lag problems with my SMS typing though. And I mean massive.

Wife sent a message on my phone and said she doesn't understand how I deal with it.

This would seem to be a standard issue across the majority of iPhones. It is the only issue I have, I don't find it all that laggy,and not all the time, but, yeah, it need's addressing.

sms is working fine with the typing.

i use to have the stock firmware release 5A345 and indeed for like 20 contacts the contact app always hang for a small time. it was bit slow and clunky..
but after restoring to 5A347 release the contacts app is now very smooth and respondent.
