does calendar sync from iphone to outlook

not sure if sync works both ways...Is this meant to sync from iphone to outlook on my pc or just the other way? If it is meant to, what do i need to do to set this up. In itunes the sync options are just outlook for all calendars or I can select a specific choice, but the only one listed is calendar...What is this meant to mean?

I believe that they're sync - advanced options should allow to choose conflict resolution.

Syncs both ways automatically. Itunes will show any calendars you have in Outlook (you can have more than 1) in case you don't want to sync them all.

I think this is a known issue at the moment with the software (google "sync iphone calendar outlook") and you'll see a whole heap of stuff in other boards. Might be a few run arounds but nothing all that good until we see a software update unfortunately.

Yes, this is how it works at the moment, worse luck. I've found to my own embarrassment that entries put directly in the iphone are not synced across to Outlook.

EDIT: Found a fix last night. Input the entry in your iphone as a recurring entry with an expiry date of the same day e.g today if the entry is for today. That will get to the Outlook calendar when you sync.
