MMS on iPhone

I believe there is a way to SEND only MMS via email on iPhone but not sure if it works on the new 3G Model and/or on the Australian networks. ie. Vodafone.
As far as I can remeber you can send an email photo to the mobile number with the "@" sign preceding one of the carriers MMS settings addresses.
eg. 06666666666@voda.pxt

Does anyone know how to do this or if it's possible on the new 3G iPhone in Australia.

If you're able to tell me what I would enter for Optus I could try it out for you.

I don't know what the settings are or if you can even do it with this new phon. I have tried but didn't work and didn't really know what I was doing or if the setting address was right.
Some one may know and post here. We can only hope eh?

I dunno if this works. But ages ago, when I got my first camera phone. I could send the photos to my email address, and the "from" email address would be:

614########@optusmobile.com.au

Maybe this could work? I dunno.
