Just updated to 2.0.1 .... no change as to custom sms tones.

Like people have said, try switching off and on and see if that works. Both SMS and "slide to unlock" sounds stopped working one day. Turned it off, then on, and it worked.

Same goes with "losing" 3G coverage. Switch it to Airplane mode for about 10 seconds, then back to normal 3G and it should work.


If this doesn't work, restore. And make sure "silent" isn't on!
