Ok - I raised this in another thread but i think it needs its own.
so Mobile me is described in a nutshell as:

Subscribe to MobileMe and you wont ever have to sync. Your me.com email, calendar and contacts will arrive on your iPhone automatically. With a MobileMe subscription, all your data is pushed to the MobileMe cloud. The cloud then pushes everything to your Mac, PC or iPhone so you have the latest information with you no matter where you go.

However, in my case, I have outlook at work which is connected to an exchange server. My current activesync setup is set to sync via the local copy of outlook, NOT exchange server (ie no push).
If I want to use iTunes at home to sync podcasts, music etc, BUT sync with outlook at work to get contacts and calenders, as per what i am doing now, can this be done? Is mobileme the answer?, or do i have to get the it admin to do something he won't want to do?
