Yep another iphone issue
Like many i got an 8gb iphone from the US, and (unlocked,jailbait and activated) it on ziphone.org about 1.5 months ago. (this was all done on a windows based lap top at my work and itunes loaded fresh to unlock it)

This morning i find my iphone is showing the usb cable picture and itunes logo. I try and connect to itunes on friends mac at home and it says the iphone is in recovery mode, please restore to use with itunes. I try and restore and it comes up with an error

"The iphone could not be restored and unknown error has occurred (1604)"
I have tried to use other USB ports, i have tried another mac, i have the right itunes version.

Im pretty much lost to what else i can possibly do myself ? Does anyone know of any places in Sydney that fix iphones ? Ive heard Voitech do, anyone used these guys before ?

Restore it through iTunes and run through the same steps again.
