Iphone Mail app auto download attachements
Hey all

quick one,
i have just signed up to a data plan on my optus cap.

i am running gmail via IMAP on the iphone, and when it has been syncing with my pc or home wifi, i have noticed that all attachments have been downloading to the iphone, which is great, when im not paying for the pleasure, so i can open a word doc on the bus or whatever...

can anyone tell me, if somebody sends me a email with say a 2mb attachment to my gmail, and i open the mail app on the iphone, will the 2mb attachment be downloaded without prompt? or will the attachment be downloaded automatically???

will i still be able to read the email, but just not see the pics, which would be PERFECT???

i guess im concerned about photos, cause they are normally displayed inline?

Normally it you will be asked to download the remaining x KB of the email or you have to click on an attachment in order to view it.
