iPhone starts EyeTV!?
I've had the iPhone for a couple of days, and it's very cool.

But tonight, I've got it plugged into the dock to charge. Now a few times I have got the sound of those mobile pips through my external speakers, then the iphone screen would come on and say it was syncing (already having been done) and also EyeTV would open whatever channel I last watched! WTF?

Anyone care to explain or have similar experience?

My Topfield STB remote sometimes does this to EyeTV as well. I just think that the EyeTV units are radio frequency whores and are not particularly selective about which remote frequencies they accept. Maybe the interference from your iPhone is enough for the EyeTV USB device to think it is a signal from its remote control.

I have an EyeTV Hybrid and EyeTV for DTT (Cinergy T2). I think it is my hybrid causing the issue.

Leon, interesting, it could be something like that, though the iphone screen comes on too? I'll give the phone a bit more space from everything and see how that goes...thanks

I've had this a couple of times now, get those little mobile noises through the speakers, and then this pops up, only happens when the phone is in the dock.




If I'm watching eyetv, the window shuts and reopens. It's all very weird...
