iphone PDF viewer not downloading via installer...

Anyone having this issue? Everything else I have tried via installer has worked perfectly.

Keeps giving me "can't connect to host errors"

Cheers.

Firstly, in reference to The Loyal, make sure you have updated the Community Sources repos, (installer > Sources > Community Sources) should be upto Version 3.8 or something. otherwise, make sure you can download anything else from the same Repo, Conceited Software i believe it is. So find another installer package (something irrelevant) and see if it downloads and installs, if it does, so should PDF viewer.

You have to use SSH to put PDF files into the directory. There are programs for windows, however being on a Mac, i can highly recommend CyberDuck. So you need a program that can access SSH protocols.

Generally, once you've figured out how to SSH, browse your folders and files just like you would on your computer, create a new folder under Media called PDF, then copy files to that directory.

Search the forum or google for SSH'ing into iPod touch or iPhone.
